Very nice photo. I don't understand the refuleing system though. It's a boom AND a cone? How is that possible?

THe drogue is only attached to the nozzel. Unlike the KC-10 it can do one or the other, not both

One of my favorite shots on a.net. It's been 10 years since I last flew the tank and I think of my 13 years flying her everyday. Incredible airplane with flawless lines. This one is 48 years old and still as graceful and beautiful as every. Thanks for many fond memories. - Brett
