This was the last B-36 to be built (8/14/1954) and the last one in service when retired (2/12/1959). The Peacemaker was the largest piston-powered plane ever built and the first long range bomber capable of dropping a nuclear bomb. Named "City of Fort Worth" after the production plant's location, this one is undergoing restoration.
