A little information courtesy Joe Baugher: 87-0293 (Thunderbirds) damaged Jun 17, 1992 when struck by car at high speed. A civilian committed suicide by driving his car into the aircraft while parked on the taxiway the night before the Air Show at Selfridge ANGB, MI. The aircraft was repaired and was last assigned to Homestead AFB, FL. This plane now (2006) flies with the 188th FW at Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

It has since been retired from the 188th FW and replaced by the A-10 warthog following the 2006 BRAC decision, this aircraft has since been reassigned to the California ANG in Fresno, California where it flies today.
