When photographed in the Pima Air & Space Museum in 1987 there was no clue regarding the fate in store for USAF 59-1583. Although donated to the Museum she was never restored but was sold on to become N100PL and was operated by Pro-Lift, Inc, then Moseley Aviation Inc. Between 1991 and 1994 she suffered damage in four incidents, two resulting in NTSB reports. In September 1999 she was destroyed when she collided with terrain near Phoenix, AZ. sadly resulting in two crew fatalities.
