Red Hawk Herk?? The 142nd Fighter Interceptor Group, Oregon Air Guard, Portland, OR, was transitioning from the F-4C Phantom to the F-15 Eagle, and at about the same time received a new operational support aircraft in the form of this C-130A (many ANG units replaced their old OSA's with C-26 Metro's, but Oregon and a few others went to C-130As). Almost certainly visiting Dobbins and the Georgia ANG 116 TFW (F-15s) concerning Oregon's transition, I happened to be by the runway when it departed. Gloss Aircraft Gray c/s with a replacement Europe 1 panel on #4 engine nacelle.
