They don't call it the flying wing for nothing. The "Spirit of Pennsylvania" climbs out of Palmdale to fly over the Rose Parade. What a great way to start the new year.

I saw one of these planes fly over San Francisco in 2002, presumably on its way to the Afghanistan theater. An unforgettable sight. It looked very much like this nice pic, but of course from a farther distance.
