Head-on shot of this 21st SOS "Dust Devil" as she sits outside Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum. The aircraft was up from Mildenhall to open a display dedicated to the 67th ARS/SOS at the museum and it was this aircraft that lifted a memorial, from the museum, dedicated to the crews of an RF4C and an F111 who died when their aircraft crashed on Cairnsmore of Fleet. This beautiful helicopter is currently at AMARG awaiting storage

This is one low rider... great shot of my favourite heli! instead of storage why dont they give these to the us coast guard? if i was stuck out at sea- i'd rather a pave low overhead than one of those little french made albatroses...

Great shot from the ground looking up at my favorite Pave Low, 5796. Some history on this one: Was one of the H-53s involved in the Yarrawonga rescue in 1989 (North Atlantic). Was the helicopter I flew on May 21-22, 2002 during the Persuader yacht rescue (North Atlantic). Was the helicopter I flew on 20 April, 2003 in Baghdad, Iraq when we were fired on and we returned fire from our left 7.62mm minigun.
