The EA-6A Electric Intruder was originally a concept designed for use by the USMC. This jet was one of the first converted from an A-6A airframe. It was used as the testbed for the program and it was one of the longest flying airframes in the program. She was one of the first Intruders deployed to Vietnam for combat missions with VMCJ-2."Methuselah" today is honored at MCAS Cherry Point where she flew most of her hours during her illustrious active duty.
