Squadron VC-33. My father, Willaim G. Ebert took this photo at Armed Forces Day in 1954. I believe this to be the AD-5N model designed for submarine hunt/kill missions. If someone knows more about this aircraft, please write.

I use to work on the AD5N aircraft at NAS Seattle (Sandpoint) in the mid to late 1950's. A number of Pappy Boyngton's past squadron members were assigned there, both in an active status as well as in VMF-216, USMC Reserve squadron. Pappy would come down to our hanger occasionally to shoot pool. He was my pool shooting partner a number of times. I also flew rt hand seat in one of these with the Marines a couple of times.
