A Prowler from VAQ-134 "Garudas" is ready to be towed on the deck of the USS George HW Bush. After 43 years of service, this is the final "sundown" carrier deployment for this legendary aircraft in the US Navy. VAQ-134 is the last squadron to fly the type and the Prowler will ultimately be retired from USN service in the beginning of 2015.

The Prowler; an aircraft with charisma, from an era when there were so many aircraft builders around, not just Boeing and Lockheed Martin. When it retires, a legend will be gone, replaced by the anonymous Growler, and aircraft without soul. -Zoydian.
