I took this photograph while listening to Samuel Barber’s “Agnus Dei” – highly appropriate for such a sad moment. This F-14A, formerly of VF-101 Grim Reapers belly landed on April 9, 2001 during a training exercise. It was delivered to the Navy in 1974. [Canon S1 IS]
