Aviation Photo #1668830 Lockheed (E)P-3B Orion - USA - Navy

Here LD-7 is parked and the right side is visible. Note that it is not trying to be a P-3C, as evidenced by the missing small painted windows on the rear fuselage, like on 160291, RC-9. Also here very visible in the sun are the two special sonobuoy chutes below the national insignia, a feature seen on no Orions but these special VPU-1 Iron Clad equipped planes. The paintshop has evidently taken special pains not to show any overpainting of numbers or codes here.
