This aircraft was the last Constellation operated by the US military when the Navy flew it into Florence on June 25, 1982 for display at the Florence Air and Missile Museum. By 1993 its belly and bottom radome had been damaged by a brush fire and it was parked next to a disassembled B-29.

What makes this photo excellent is the nostalgia plastered all over it! flew radar/ecm operator, 2 yrs in mid '50s out of newfoundland across the north atlantic in the wv-2 version. eight years in navy & never on a ship. 1 yr school, 7 yrs flight crew.
