Pictured at the Air Force Museum. The caption reads Aircraft Wreckage Field : This place stores wreckage of French and American aircraft (including B52 strategic bombers) downed by men of Vietnam's air defence. The Phantom displayed crashed on May 14th, 1967, when during a strike on anti-aircraft defences near the Than Hoa bridge, both engines flamed out and could not be restarted. The crew (L.F. Baker) ejected and were taken prisoner [Nikon D200]
