The "Yellow Peril" was the US Navy's primary trainer in the late 1930s and early 1940s. It is most famous for the canary-yellow floatplane version, but hundreds of land-based examples were also operated by the Navy. Finally retired in 1961, they were the last biplane in US military service. This immaculate example preserved at the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, FL.
