Great photo on a fantastic and unique airplane. Great to be able to see the gear actually touchdown on a jet.

Have never travelled with a TU-134, so it is great to see how it might look like :)

I sincerly hope you had some kind of earplugs ;) The noise must be deafening back there.

Great picture of an old bird. To Swed who commented on the noise back there... wrong end of the engine. It's the other end that makes the real noise. Ever tried sitting aft of the engines on a 737-200 where you you can see the exhaust? Now that's noise that actually makes the inner window liners crackel. Ah the good old days of noise. :)

I wonder what the procedures are for a Tu-134. Gear down and no flaps extended

Top notch shot!

Russian procedure on the Tu-154 (and most likely on the Tu-134 as well) is to deploy the gear before the flaps.

What a rare picture. I love it. The place I live is somewhere hidden by the wing.
Actually just a small piece of the landing gear is seen when all flaps are down.
As to noise: inside it is suprisingly quiet.
Thanks!

A truly unique photograph. The metal rivets on the engine intake make for interesting detail, as do the struts on the landing gear. Cleared for landing!!!
