A visitor from Netherlands posted Fri December 21, 2012: There is some good footage of this on youtube. Very cool stuff. Agreed, this livery is better than the Continental one. But I have said it before, I think this is absolutely better than the other way around, adopting this scheme but proceeding as 'Continental Airlines'. The livery will be changed some day, the tulip will return... if it does not, their marketeers are crazy.

A visitor from Indonesia posted Sun January 2, 2011: On what occassion did this UA 744 fly so low over the Alcatraz island ? Was it a regular approach to SFO ? I previously worked at Pier39 but I had never seen any aircraft flying so low over that area. Awesome picture !!!

A visitor from China posted Fri November 26, 2010: What a shot and a flyby! Just beautiful. Chalk me up as another airliner enthusiast who will miss the UA 'blue' livery! Far superior in looks and class compared to the drab CO gray and powerpoint globe. The colors and banded U 'tulip' will be dearly missed; especially on the gorgeous 747!
