Not a fan, it just about sent me to sleep.....that Continental livery was already due for overhaul. I think it's a step back for United livery-wise anyways. Inoffensive, but just plain boredom.

An excellent shot of a truly boring logo - I mean the Continental Globe I've always liked, but the UNITED font is, well, yawn...

The Continental Airlines livery has always been my favourite. Simple but classy at the same time. This 752 looks brand new, even though it's probably 15-20 years old! Love it. CB

Somehow I think It'd look better if there wasn't such a big gap between each letter. It makes it look like it was photoshopped!

I really like this livery. 2 old liveries came together to create something really new in a way. Its 21st century!

I like Conti's scheme better than the newer white/blue UAL. The old grey UAL scheme was much better. This picture looks great and if they can just pick a better font and make it slightly larger then it works. It makes sense keeping the 'globe' as the logo as that shows they

Jeff, great shot of the new livery! I'm just sad to see United actually go through with this mix n' match paint scheme, though.

There's a small uproar among the more design-centric folks in the world because of the bastardization of the Continental livery and the complete throw-away of the very thoughtful design of United's latest paint scheme. If you google "under consideration united airlines" you'll see some of the healthy debate (mostly despair) going on.

Well, I rather have em called United in Co's jacket and see a return to United-level (Stars & Friendship, Rainbow, Grey (inverted sunset) and vibrant blues) liveries in a year or two, than to have the nice UA livery and lose the United brand forever. But still, I will never see a plane like this as a pure United bird... they should rather smack 'single' titles on it than to mess with such a cool brand.

And I look forward (actually I don't, but ok) to the first new UA 757 with the proper nice engines, the Pratt's, not these beermugs.

That is a lame livery.
