Nice job catching the millisecond this aircraft touches down and begins smoking the tires. Clearly a sudden crosswind. Interesting patchwork livery as well.

Randall, greets from NYC! Off the hook as always, great capture. What's up with the patchwork on that aging pait job? Headed to LAS in May hope to meet you ...

The art of flying....From Toy Story: "This is not landing!!!! This is Flying". Impressive.

Wow, you caught it at the millisecond the wheel hi the runway! I love the weathered look on that aircraft too, with the dirt and the patchy-looking paintjob.

A little bit of crosswind?
feh.
Pucker Factor = 4, pushing 5.

Any thoughts regarding the lighter blue area on the lower fuselage, just forward of the wing? Almost looks like a badly done cut-and-paste.

Another "interesting" LAS landing. What is the bright-blue "thing" near the leading-edge fillet? A reflection? A poor patch-job? A piece of cowling? -rsa, 2011-01-29

Randall, this reminds me of the photo you took of a DL 753. Indeed, both capture the drama and fluidity of the crosswind landing. Well done!

Crosswind or did pilot wiggle wings to give pax a scare? J/K
And look like they used piece of fairing from other a/c with newer UA colors, engine cowling too on No. 1.
