Well, I surprised by one of the aircraft above, the orange tail 737 on the right side of the picture. She was Adam Air fleet, a former low cost airline in Indonesia, which was "closed" by Indonesian government because of bad safety standard on their operational.
I guess these birds deserve better treatment even if they are not flying.
N194UA happily joined the active UA fleet as of July 2010 again.. Hooah!!
If BA want someone to look after a 747 speedbird im happy to volunteree
Sad to see all those beautiful birds facing an uncertain future, hope all of them will return to the skies.
So sad to see so many queens of the sky sitting in the desert, Uniteds paint hasnt taken to well to being left out but most others in good knick, hopefully most will one day fly again and give people great pleasure of airline travel..
So many B747. Thats amazing
As to the comment "no vacancy!" They come and go so there is always a vacancy. I work here.lol
Happy to know that the first 744BCF (CX B-HOU) will escape here and back to HKG next month for C check before re-enter in service
The Cargo-B 744 is brand new
Great photo, it really highlights the massive shifts in the airline business. What stories those 744's could tell.
I think I've actually got some Photos of the Saudi air 757 back there before it left the hangar. it was about almost 2 years ago. The Place was full of L-1011's then waiting thier final destiny.
Very sad photo! | |
The singair is 9V-SPM | |
That's absolutely sad to see so many beautiful 744 like that...
Such a sad sight to see so many aircraft with a lot of flying left in them parked in the desert. A sign of the times. Seeing so many beautiful 747-400s there is especially depressing.
To the visitor from Taiwan : It's not that hard to do. In fact, the hardest part is finding the keys to the ones that are parked in front of the one you want to valet back.
Wonder how they move one specific aircraft out from the middle ?
Sad to see so many 744s! | |
Jumbo Jet alley | |
So sad to see these beauties so lonely in the desert :(
Sad sight would like to see them in the sky one day again
I love United Airlines | |
So many 744s, hope they fly out soon. Cant wait for the day when the 380s are parked like this.
So sad scene for those lovely 747's :( Espesially the BA ones :( I hope the 747 rises again, it doesn't have to die!
I should have rated this a 1 star piece, due to the sadness it demonstrates. As a big fan of BA, may those Speedbirds soon return home. 747's forever...
Sad, very sad. I don't like photos like this.
What's the rego of the Singair 744? Looks like 9V-SPK
Nice to see them in one piece before they go spare parts.
