A visitor from - posted Sat December 22, 2012: Interesting photo. We can see the Krueger flaps inboard. Next, mid span we see the variable camber leading edge flaps. But outboard of the engines no leading edge devices. That's a unique configuration for the 747 since we don't usually see photos of it that way.
