A visitor from United States posted Sun May 12, 2013: To the post that says this is forbidden, you are mistaken. I am a controller at SFO and this is a common occurance and perfectly legal. So long as at least one pilot is able to maintain visual separation, no rules are being broken, even with exactly parallel landings and even when one or both aircraft have greater wake turbulence standards.

You cannot have a parallel landing nor t/o when both runways are this close!! It is actually forbidden for safety reasons-- So, to make this gr8 picture possible, it seems like someone really screw things up in the tower...
A visitor from Brazil posted Sat July 2, 2011: Firstly, nice picture, beautiful scenery .. well, I do not wish that were true, but really the 321 seems like a copy of 757, or vice versa ... and really, 757 and 717 do not seem to belong to the Boeing family, very different nose (comment only on a visual standpoint, without considering technical details) .. Oh, sure, 5* shot! ;-)
