A visitor from - posted Thu December 15, 2011: To the poster from the UK, you may see side-by departures off of the 1's, or even the 28's when landing and departing runways 28, but you will never see it with a pair of heavy jets or 757s for wake turbulence reasons. You may, however, see one heavy or 757 with a large or small aircraft leading it slighly (so not exactly simultaneous as you would have with 2 larges or smalls).
