This is what happend when you start an engine with -8°C, noisy, smoky and smelly. Any aviation enthusiast loves the smell of kerosene in the morning.

I AGREE!!! Oddly enough diesel fumes make me sick but the smell of fresh avgas in the early AM on a cold day is the perfect wake up call.

Very nice, the best smell (and sound!) in the world! There is also a nice deep bass rumble in the cabin on engine-start!
