I think one of the hardest things about making this photo was trying to figure if the rocket would stay in the frame til the shutter closed. But as usual, Ben pulls it off! Simply awesome!

Judging from the length of the star trails, I'd guess Ben had his shutter open for about 10 minutes before the launch, maybe a little longer; this is a shot that can only be taken by a guy who knows precisely what he's doing! (and believe me......Ben knows what he's doing! )

What a great shot! You can see the stars colors despite the amount of light pollution in the photo. I also like the angles of the lights coming away from the pad.
