A visitor from - posted Fri September 2, 2011: I am in awe of the perspective of this picture. Look at how close the 1000' markers appear to each other, it's hard to believe this is a 10,000' runway from looking at the pic. It makes the weather look that much more threatening.

The foreshortening effect makes them all look so close together! Love it.
