10 stars! Yes, it's the cargo. But just imagine - how smooth would be touchdown except a little Hiroshima should be done.
No reading material? Lol
Antonovs lavatory is awesome!))) nice joke Ivan, nice joke))
Great potty seat! | |
Yikes! That is nasty. All you need is a dose of crummy airline food and you have all the ingredients for the 'Trip from Hell'. Bravery award to Ivan.
I don't think that airline would be my first choice on a flight...
Certainly the maintenance cost is low. But you don't still know The Main Rule for use. Who of the crew was the first to take a leak that should take away the bucket after landing. I know exactly.
The Russian Technology
I'm sure I saw this once in BA economy.
"Spotless walls and floor..."???? Are we looking at the same picture? I've never seen an a/c lav that rate a Biohazard sign before. Actually, it reminds me of my first college dorm room. Great shot!
I think id hold it till i got home
Funny photo, great technology!
Excellent photo and explanation
Did somebody spot the cigarette sitting just beneath the toilet seat?
If Bob Hoover would be on the controls, even loopings would be possible with full bucket !!!
Humurous and interesting capture. Much more interesting than the same 'ol photos taken by someone at INN with the same mountain in the background
Funny Toilet | |
It's not as bad as you all presume. First of all, it,s bolted safe and secure to the floor. And from the spotless walls and floor, either it dos not fly in turbulence, or the washroom just underwent the annual 'W'-check.
Thrown of humanity, when you got pressure in the human tailplane..... any thrown is luxurious.
What about odor control? Can't open the windows at FL300. Cat liter might work LOL!
Great photo, indeed very interesting, as you don't usually find this kind of picture in a airplane reference book ! I just hope that this plane does not do loopings when the bucket is full !
I don't think this photo is tagged correctly, I swear the carrier is Ryan Air ; )
I bet there is a hole on a bottom of this can, so the fluids could be relased in atmosphere during the flight.
The red stick is the "depth gauge"! ub
Perhaps they have got the idea " some thing is better than nothing" Sarfaraz RFC
Is the red bar used for fuel check ? I think I have an idea what kind of level may help to empty the other hanging tool during stop overs. And that's one piece of technology.
Boys, we should compare it with 707, 727, or others in same class and age. Not with Emirates or Etihad. By the way, thanks for sharing Ivandalavia. It is a nice photo, but agree with some of you, a little bit disturbing...
Boeing and Airbus could learn from this technology. Unlike vacuum toilets, this toilet cannot go INOP. Great Russian design, 100% reliable.
That's one weapon of mass destruction!
The AN26 is not a passenger airliner, its a cargo turboprop.
Its ryanair ... they are trying to bucketise their toiletary system and charge for it - hate to be a lady on the lunar cycle --- probably be 50
Wow, talk about a ----ty situation! Thank you I'll be here all week!
A farm hole toilet it´s better.
I think I'd rather just hang out the open cargo door and take my chances with frostbite and gravity.
What the hell do you do after you have taken a dump ? and to the guy asking "how do you flush the toilet" below, well their aint no flush if you know what i mean lol
Well the maintenance cost is low!!!
The best part is... There's no toilet paper even :)
A great photo on it's own. I thought the "honey buckets" (toilets) on C-130 and C-141 were bad. The AN-26 "bucket" is the new king of throwns :>)
OMG! That seems to be the most luxurious lav in Russia ))
I was lucky enough to get a tour of the AN-26 but was not able to get such a nice, high resolution shot of the facilities. This photo could be used in the manufacturer's literature to exhibit the way they chose function over glitz and glamor! Their use of greys and aquamarine compliment the faux Italian terrazzo linolleum.
Oh, the humanity! Keep bucket away from open flame!
Ryanair finds an alternative to charging for toilets
That must be fun during turbulence!
This truly is a "shitty" picture! haha! ub
It looks ugly, but good job, not all achieve a picture like that.
I take it they won't be attempting any barrel rolls in this plane!
Amazing!! Congratulations IvanDalavia!! This is five stars!
I'd rather pee in a cup than pee into this bucket!
Best photo on a.net | |
Emirates Economy class...^^
Hahahaha, very funny. No toilet paper? T.B.
Nice flooring and all the equipment as well.. :) The extra touch of rust is of course an option!
In Soviet Russia, toilet flushes you!
I'll be glad to donate a box of wooden clothespegs to you, for the crew and passengers' noses.
Ouch! If I fell bad or sick during the flight, I would not use a toilet like this. I would get worse hahaha!!
Outstanding photo ;-) | |
This is engineering! Here you have a way to lose weight on the aircraft structure, less weight -> less fuel consumption -> more efficiency -> less polution, etc... Mother Nature says thankyou :) Best Regards, Leandro Rocha.
Imagine a wery hard and bouncy landing...
So, enjoy your three- or four-hour flight without using the toilet!
And the hygienic paper???
Oh my God, but where's the paper? :)
Okay.. Oh.. Dear.. Oh.. My... Oh....
I hope no-one shows this picture to Michael O'Leary. It might give him ideas......
I can ´ t believe this is possible.. :)
Wow, what happens when you enter a "bumpy" area? Better not be sat on it when it happens! lol
LOL !!!! Is that a toilet ?
It might possibly be the most bizarre photo I've ever seen in Airliners.net. High W.C. tech!
Just for a second I thought... not another A380 interior shot... most hilarious shot on A.net in ages. Excellent contribution!!!!
Ooh my goddd!! hahahaah...dude,this is funny..
That's disturbing... | |
How can you flush the toilet? ;-) Great picture!
Oh wow, this is so much better than Emirates' or Etihad's offering! Beautiful! ... you know I'm sarcastic, LOL. Looks like this toilet belongs to a rusty ship.
The Russian Technology Can't be better than it.
Good job, Ivan! | |
Note to self -- do not use the An-26 lav during moderate turbulence.
Oh my!! That is disturbing!
How do you get rid of the the smell? Air fresher?
Top secret of Russian air Force ;)))
Wow!!!That First class Emirates or Qantas? :) :) :)
