This aircraft is an Alitalia McDonnell-Douglas DC-9-31 of majority ALITALIA (Italy) livery. I saw this AZ fuselage, along with the British Midland DC-9-31 cockpit at Maxton on 31st January 1998. Flew there from Grand Strand, SC in a Cessna 172 with Scottish companion Don McAulay. It is Alitalia and given my research since into the DC-9's European demise, suspect I-RIKV. The BM DC-9 I believe is G-BMAK.
