Nice arrangement of planes.
Owner of the Skymaster in the middle of the mess calls the FBO office: "Please make my plane ready. I'll be there in 10 minutes and I'm in a hurry!"
I don't wanna be the tug driver then...
The exact same arrangement can be seen on Google maps.

Sadly, but amazing picture!!
The aircraft under the tail of the DC-9 is a Seawind. Very beautiful aircraft.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Fri October 30, 2009:
Looks like a collection of toy aircraft I used to own back in the day. I would pile em up same way in my room.

A visitor from United States posted Fri October 30, 2009:
That's a Cessna 307? Skymaster. There is another one to left of DC9.

A visitor from - posted Fri October 30, 2009:
I thought it was a lake at first, but i don't think they ever had an engine attached to the vs. it's definitely an amphib though. nice shot btw.

A visitor from - posted Fri October 30, 2009:
I believe it a Seawind here a link to another photo

A visitor from United States posted Fri October 30, 2009:
Love that photo!!!!

A visitor from United States posted Fri October 30, 2009:
That's a Seawind amphibian. It's a shame to see it being scrapped.

A visitor from Puerto Rico posted Fri October 30, 2009:
I think that the aircraft with the tail mounted engine is a Seawind 300C kit plane. Nice shot Ricardo!

A visitor from - posted Fri October 30, 2009:
I believe it is a Seawind behind the yellow DC-9.

A visitor from Poland posted Fri October 30, 2009:
Pretty, unusual and also sad photo. Somebody asked about this airplane with an engine mounted on the tail. It is a Seawind 3000 (seaplane).

A visitor from - posted Fri October 30, 2009:
That appears to be some sort of experimental aircraft.

I wish the boneyards here in the US were that small!

A visitor from United States posted Fri October 30, 2009:
That would be a Seawind 300C a small amphibious plane.
Now about the photo. It's great!

A visitor from - posted Fri October 30, 2009:
Could the strange airplane behind the DC-9 be a Seawind 3000?

A visitor from Canada posted Fri October 30, 2009:
Lake amphibian la4-200

A visitor from - posted Fri October 30, 2009:
Can somebody identify the strange looking aircraft with a tail-mounted engine under the tail of the yellow DC-9 in the middle of the picture?
