RE172 Built at Avro's Yeadon Factory near Leeds in April 1945. Photo taken from another Lancaster (see shadow on starboard wingtip). Flown by test pilot A.K. Cook and seen over Fallowfield, Manchester. Later served 37 Squadron at RAF Fayid, Egypt. From Avros 60 years ago.
