A visitor from Taiwan posted Tue December 8, 2009: I used to fly this aeroplane. Based out of RAK into Chad and Nigeria for International Air Services. I think the RR RB211 AD finally ended its career. I have some very good memories flying her and her sister.

A visitor from Mauritius posted Tue May 12, 2009: Sad to see this beauty without engines and abandoned in the dessert. She used to stay on tarmac behind GAMCO hangar in AUH at least for 3 years. Don't have a clue what's the purpose towing her into the dessert. Maybe new type of shade-hut for the camels:-)
