I can't believe that i found this photo of my stoof. iwas stationed in vs26 from 1960 to 1962 and was plane captain of this n0.23.the ironic thing is that this photo was taken just 60 miles from my home in jessup pa. it is a wonderful photo but she looked much better on the flight deck of the randolph.thanks for the memory.

The photo is a great representation of this wonderful aircraft. It has special importance to me because VS-26 was my first fleet assignment in 1964 aboard the USS Randolph. I flew as a young aircrewman in the rear right seat operating the APS-88 radar, the Julie recorder and the MAD equipment. It brings back so scary moments and some wonderful memories.
