Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is just a float plane, and not an amphibian? If in fact it does lack wheels on the floats, it's sure the only thing it lacks! Fantastic shot Simon!

This photograph appeals to an old timer from the "monochrome - darkroom " area. Everything is spot-on, the lighting, the angle, the technology and, thank goodness, no multi coloured, multi jet trying to hide the "ugly" bits, this time ! I know it's often declared, but this photo, if nothing else, has the best clarity and sharpness i've seen in a photo on A.net. The perspective and depth of field aren't bad either.
