N82FA (cn 35960) On Jan. 17th, 2007, while enroute from Fairbanks to the Nixon Fork Mine, aircraft suffered an in-flight fire in the number two engine. Attempts to extiguish the fire were unsuccessful, while the pilot attempted to return to Fairbanks. Pilot was forced to make a wheels up landing approximately five miles from Nenana. Photograph is of the fuselage hulk and wreckage being in open storage at the Nenana Municipal Airport.
