TF-ISB (cn 9860) Gunnfaxi, ex Flugfélag Íslands C-47, seen in the old Flugfélag Íslands scheme, rotting away in hangar 3. The owners, DC-3 Thristavinir, are planning to restore the aircraft. It will cost over US$ 850,000 to make it ready for flying, and about US$ 200,000 to make it ready for display. Thristavinir are wondering if they should go for it. They are planning to change ISB's sistership, NPK, to a passenger aircraft, and retire it from its agricultural work. At least for now, ISB is in a horrible condition... It's a shame!
