A visitor from - posted Wed July 13, 2011:NO! Not the 757s! I'll gladly take them all, as well as the 767!
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon June 7, 2010:I love the 757 why do so many airlines think that they cant be operated anymore they are lovely aircraft./ Hopefully they will find new homes or atleast be converted
A visitor from United States posted Thu April 8, 2010:Nice shot- Some Midwest 717's up on top, some with engines stripped? Kind of an odd sight for newer aircraft.
A visitor from - posted Sun January 10, 2010:How much for the EX monarch 757? Shame to see such beautiful aircraft sat in the desert doing nothing :(
A visitor from Portugal posted Sun November 15, 2009:They really should sell these to the RAF considering that they already use tristars as tankers, this photo just makes me sad seeing that those tristars will probably never fly again :(
A visitor from Belgium posted Mon October 12, 2009:I wonder why the USAF doesn't buy a few of those DC-10's and even L-1011's and convert them to tankers, considering the age of the current fleet.
A visitor from Canada posted Wed September 23, 2009:So many TriStars that will never take to the air again. It brings a tear in the eye!
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat September 19, 2009:Just look at all those 757s ex Aladia - most look like they're ex BY/ZB/TCX from my country - they could be ploughing the Atlantic. Such a Shame
A visitor from United States posted Sat September 19, 2009:Ill take the 727 =D
A visitor from United States posted Sat September 19, 2009:The Tri-Star could probably find a home in a museum, but seriously what is a 757 doing there!
A visitor from Portugal posted Sat September 19, 2009:A sad scene indeed
A visitor from - posted Sat September 19, 2009:Hey! where is Wily?? He
A visitor from - posted Sat September 19, 2009:A graphic example of real world economic situation and how expensive aviation is, considering the money it requires to be one of the safest things on earth. Perfect capture. Frank frm BUE - E01
A visitor from Italy posted Sat September 19, 2009:Well... I love the MD-11, and I like the FedEx livery... Can I take only one? Please... :-)
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat September 19, 2009:Delta have just repainted one of those aircraft and now it's in the middle of the desert. ?
A visitor from - posted Sat September 19, 2009:2 Airbus A310 please. oh please include the optional leather seat package and airbags. hope to see these birds fly again. 5 stars
A visitor from United States posted Fri September 18, 2009:Here's to seeing them all take to the skies again
A visitor from - posted Fri September 18, 2009:Good god... I'm still perplexed at how hard the 757/767 was hit by this recession. The MD-80/737 Classic was an obvious victim, but the 757/767? They are very fuel efficient for older aircraft! Hope they can find new homes. A310s probably can, along with maybe some of the MD-80s/737 Classics. The L1011 is DOA.
A visitor from United States posted Fri September 18, 2009:I Really miss those blue 757 of aladia in MMGL :(
A visitor from United States posted Fri September 18, 2009:Surprising to see a plane in Delta's newest livery among all of those decommissioned Tristars. I have never seen so many planes in one picture.
