N12-152812 / 851 (cn 281C) Built as an S-2E, Bu 152812, in 1966 for the USN. Converted to S-2G, then to VS37 NAS North Island & USS Kittyhawk. Retired 15 June 76 & stored Davis Monthan. Purchased by RAN to replace Trackers destroyed in Nowra hangar fire & delivered to Australia aboard HMAS Melbourne in April 77. Retired again 12 August 84, sold, stored then purchased by Qantas as a training aid. Sold to HARS 2006 & under restoration to fly.
