N401JB (cn 3299) Built in 1941 and refurbished by Jim's Air. Sadly, written off during 1983 due to accident with Swift Delivery Air Freight in Hawaii. Scrapped. This aircraft was refurbished in 1955 by Remert-Werner in St Louis, MO and configured as a corporate passenger transport. The registration number at that time was N74B. One of the co-pilots worked for ARMCO Steel Company and built a set of stainless steel cowl flaps still visible in this photo. Based in Butler, PA for 14 years it was sold as a trainer in 1969.
