N289MT (cn 22467/1765) "Voodoo 1" climbs out from 25L. This 727 looks rather odd with the modified nose. I was able to catch this same aircraft while still in service with American as N710AA.

You may want to call this airplane "Pinnochio" ! That's what we nicknamed the 1st C-17 test aircraft at Edwards because of its pointy nose !!
