I love this shot as well as showing just what goes into building one of these beasts it also shows all the joinging areas in the airframe which once the plane is painted one doesnt see very much.

A visitor from Brazil posted Sat November 12, 2005:
It is a unique image of painting stage of the most impressive civil aircraft with the best airlines colours !

This photo shows the size of the plane relative to a man.

A visitor from United States posted Fri November 4, 2005:
Unusual look at construction process in mid-stream. Note the pieces that are left to attach to the frame

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue October 25, 2005:
Why does the panel just above the leading edge of the wing say "MSN005" when all the others say "MSN003"?

A visitor from Singapore posted Sat October 22, 2005:
This is the very first shot of the A380 in commercial colours and proudly so from a small but wonderful country, Singapore.

A visitor from United States posted Sat October 22, 2005:
This thing is huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A visitor from Canada posted Fri October 21, 2005:
I found the A380 to be pretty repulsive looking -- until I saw this picture. I don't know if it's the angle or the might Singapore tail, but I think it looks great. This one's gonna be a gem when it gets painted in Singapore's classy livery.

A visitor from Nigeria posted Fri October 21, 2005:
Gud view of the aircraft, hope to be in control of something like this someday

It's time to call SA too make a reservation.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed October 19, 2005:
Nice picture that shows the sheer size of this plane. This machine is technically brilliant but on an eye-candy level personally I find it supremely ugly as well :P I know that has nothing to do with performance but I can't get it out of my head that it reminds me of a poptato! The best looking plane that Airbus makes is the A340-500/600....nice and graceful!

A visitor from Algeria posted Wed October 19, 2005:
