A visitor from United States posted Fri February 25, 2011: I thought it was a wheel fire at first :-O And while it resembles an A340, it was built in the 1980s (with 1970s engines). So no, while it may look nice, it is not an improved A340.

A visitor from Ireland posted Mon June 26, 2006: It's the landing lights reflecting through the spray. have a look at other IL86 shots and you will see that the landing lights appear to be on the upper part of the main landing gear leg.

Russian Sky and before IRS Aero logos are still clearly visible. I could not find the original Aeroflot remnants, though. Hope the savings on repainting went all to maintenance ;o)
