Seems like this poor 742 is being scrapped on site. What else to do when the big beast is no longer economicly airworthy for repair after a minor "incident"?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what we're seeing here is, a crash site "some time" after the crash, and after all the "pieces" have been "piled up" awaiting being "picked up" and carted off. Still, I'm with the other commenter; how in the world did the forward section escape being reduced to "tiny pieces" like those beside it! I hope the crew fared as well as this section of the plane did.
