Being scrapped. This plane was written off after veering off the runway on landing and colliding with a concrete ramp. The incident happened on December 2nd, 1985 and had no fatalities.

The crew of this 747 averted a serious disaster. Sad to see this once proud jetlines badly damaged, soon to be scrapped. People on board escaped unhurt.

Curious - the aircraft is being scrapped but with its engines still attached! I mean, usually you would take the engines out before scrapping, to sell them...
