Seen operating a cargo flight to LAX feeding DHL - as seen from Windsock Cafe balcony. The Windsock was used in a scene from "Top Gun" movie starring actor Tom Cruise. Built in January 1955 as a C-131B for USAF as 53-7789. This CV-340-70 is owned by Air Resorts. Other serials - N1360D with Renown Aviation. Parted out at ROW (Roswell) as N1360D. There were so many Air Resorts Convairs props performing different jobs, some pax & some cargo duties. There was always a Convair prop parked at Jim's Air (FBO).
