A lot of history in this fine photo, which shows how Templehof's curved canopy was designed to be used. ROSINENBOMBER was the name given to the American planes(eventually mainly C-54s ) which dropped chewing gum and candy on little parachutes to the children watching the landings in the Berlin Airlift over 50 years ago

Aviationtag has made a keychain of this historic DC-3 Candybomber D-CXXX. It played a very important role in German history during its flights in the Berlin Airlift.

Pocket sized aviation history.

By the way with each sold DC-3 D-CXXX Aviationtag 10€ goes to the foundation “candy bomber e.V.”.
