I really want to know that, is the interior size bigger than A380F?

This is the first time I saw this thing in real instead of 3D simulation, excellent shot.

The first winged hot dog :-) is payload restricted to some 80tons which is still largely sufficient to carry the 787 parts. pls stop comparing it to the A380. (gp)

Great Shot! I love photos like this, the 'news' of aviation in pictures!

TO the UK visitr below, this isn't a cheap copy of the A380, it's a on-off design (note the name 'LCF'- large cargo freighter - which is designed to carry parts for the production of the Boeing 787, much like the Airbus A300-600ST.

Interesting plane. Was this one build from scratch? Or is it a converted 747-400?
Still, I wonder if Boeing ever would make a PAX version of this thing. Will it every fly to Europe? I would love to see it first hand.
Perhaps some day a showdown between this bird and the A380? Who can eat the most airplanes? ;)

For a second i thought Boeing had decided to compete with the A380 and this was theyre prototype.

Five stars for the photo for showing this "new" aircraft. As for the aircraft...I've seen ugly things but nothing compared with that.

Anyone have the internal (width, lenght, height) dimensions of the LCF? They keep saying the volume is 65000ft^3, but is that absolute or useable volume?
Anonymous
I speculate the internal dimensions to be 23.75ft wide (at its widest), 130ft long, and 21-22ft tall.
