First time seing a 787 take off! What a fantasic airplane! This is the first B789 with the GEnx instead of the Trent1000. This became JAL's first B787-9

Very good catch! Lovely wingflex too. Finaly the 787 looks like a widebody. Not so short and stubby like the 8-series.

Agree with the post from England. The -9 is very impressive. The -10 will be even more so. The wing flex in those raked wings are awe-inspiring. Every day that goes by the 787 is proving itself more. Recently a local Chicago TV station reported that United Airlines based in Chicago reported that the 787-8's in their fleet were performing flawlessly and soon the were opening up their longest non-stop flights from the USA to far east routes.

It's funny how the large windows on the 787 give it the appearance of being "short and stubby" when in reality it is neither. The 767-200 however?
