Commemorative Air Force Airshow 2006. This aircraft was built by Douglas in El Segundo, CA. After the war this aircraft was used for aerial photography in Mexico. In 1964 the aircraft returned to USA and in 1970 the aicraft was purchased by the Commemorative Air Force. In 1990 the aircraft was restored to the orginal SBD-5 configuration. The color scheme it wears was in use at the time of the Battle of the Marianas on June 9th 1944. Now the aircraft performs at airshows. (Canon 350D + 100-400 L IS)

Wonderful picture of a classic warbird. There are not very many of these left.
