Operated by Renown Aviation. Built as CV-340, cvt'd to CV-540, then again cvt'd to CV-440. Sadly, W/O January 4, 1996 with Salair as N358SA at GEG (Spokane, Washington) operating DVT-GEG. On approach to runway 3 with #1 engine problems, both engines lost power. Aircraft forced to land in a field striking a raised beam. Left wing tank was empty & right wing tank had 125 gallons at time of crash - 2 pilots survived.

I remember that crash, right after I moved to Spokane. Luckily, no one was hurt,but still sad for an old plane.
