A visitor from United States posted Wed November 1, 2006:Oh how I miss Flyi and its livery. I was glad to see it under the top rated. Even after its death it's still top-rated. I just wish it was a picture of when they were still serving happy customers. RIP Independence Air!!
A visitor from United States posted Fri October 13, 2006:I was with Independence from the start. I was a Ramp Supervisor, and a pilot. I know that there will be many attempts made to reproduce that airline, but none will make it. Flyi was special. This is a very sad sight for me. I miss that airline very much. The people, the passengers, the planes, they were all wonderful. We were a great airline. One I will never forget. ~Jason L. Savannah, GA.
A visitor from United States posted Wed January 25, 2006:As a former employee of FlyI its great to hear many people really enjoyed flying us. I was with the airline from the beginning and it was an extremely sad day when we closed. We all put our hearts and souls into that airline in an attempt to change the industry. While we may not have had the time we needed I believe that we made a small impact in that we provided a service standard that was above much of the current industry. Thanks for supporting us. We loved that airline with a passion and she will greatly be missed.
A visitor from United States posted Sat January 21, 2006:Thanks everyone for their kind words. It means a lot to me as I'm such a huge Airbus fan and it's sad when they're parked like this. At least these ones will be flying again real soon, but not sure for whom just yet...
